Participants in the international Shia studies course visited WFRC
Public affairs of WFRC reported that the participants in Shia studies course from Germany, Austria, Australia, Poland and Japan visited WFRC and became familiar with scientific and research activities of the center.

Public affairs of WFRC reported that the participants in Shia studies course from Germany, Austria, Australia, Poland and Japan visited WFRC and became familiar with scientific and research activities of the center.         
 

Introducing and explaining the goals of the center at this meeting, WFRC research deputy, Hujjatu l-Islām wal-Muslimīn Dehqan, explained research activities and charters of the center and put emphasis on the expansion of scientific relations with international research centers and institutions across the world.     
 

He also mentioned some specifications of his book “Gender and the language of the Quran” which has been written on the subject of women in the Quran.  
At the end of the meeting also Hujjatu l-Islām wal-Muslimīn Dehqan answered the questions of the students and university professors participated in the course in the area of woman and family.

 

It is worth mentioning that the researchers, students and university professors participating at the course will gain familiarity with the major historical and doctrinal outlines of Shia as well as the issues pertaining to the position of woman and family in Shia in the presence of Hawza and university professors and instructors. Besides theoretical classes and specialized meetings, they will also visit historical and religious places of religious minorities in Iran and will study shia culture, rituals, and customs.
