| The Woman and Family Research Institute (Qom, Iran), the first seminary-affiliated institution in Iran with quarter-century national and international research and educational activity on woman and family, honorably invites all the leading scholars in the world who are concerned about family and morality, to the: international conference of "Family and Moral Challenges in the Transforming World". | |
We think that in recent decades, thanks to the new developments taken place in the world, the family has faced challenges in fulfilling its moral roles, so that the it is unable to reproduce moral and religious values with the ease and simplicity of the past, any more. If our families, institutions, thinkers, scholars, activists, and governments, with a correct and deep understanding of the current situation, revise the patterns of education, activism, governance, policy-making and think about producing a relevant academic literature, we can reach new ideas and solutions for how to revive the dynamic family and expand moral values. To realize this goal, all thinkers and activists committed to moral values, hereby, are invited to participate in this conference to present their ideas, plans, strategies and solutions. The audience of these presentations are the family and the institutions influencing it, the elite society and the governments.

This conference will be held from 21-22 of February in Tehran and Qom respectively and will focus on the themes of sociology, cyber and digital space, arts, psychology, education, ethics, theology, jurisprudence, law, etc. After the conference, interested individuals can choose to participate in our proposed
culture tour. |

All submissions, relevant to the main title or subtitles of the conference, are evaluated upon receipt and the applicants are responded within maximum 14 days of submission. A list of suggested presentation topics can be found

• The whole cost of attending the conference (including accommodation, round-trip tickets, food) is free for the key speakers only (on the day of speech). • For the applicants whose articles are accepted for presentation on the days of the conference, accommodation is provided for free (only on the day of the presentation), however the travel expenses shall be paid by the applicant. • Applicants who are interested in participating the conference, despite not submitting any article, must pay all expenses in person (assistance to find inexpensive accommodation will be provided). |
